My time at Al-Diwan has
been excellent. I was impressed by their professionalism and they
helped a great deal in settling into foreign surroundings. The standard
of teaching is exceptional and all the staff are extremely friendly and
helpful. I came knowing almost no arabic at all but the lessons here
helped me learn very fast. From my experiences I would recommend
Al-Diwan to anyone who wants to learn arabic at any level.

I found the center here
excellent , when I came here I did not even know the alphabet. I find
all the teachers and all the staff and all the other teachers very
friendly , I found Mohammed Ali the teacher excellent for his patience
and sometimes I would keep on forgetting words but he was very kind and
most helpful. After 2 months now I know the alphabet well and can read
the Arabic slowly and able to form sentences.If I went into a
restaurant now I am able to order for things in Arabic I know the name
of the food, I know the greetings and I feel I learned a lot.
Also I found the accommodation near the center very convenient.
When I return to Ireland
I am going to continue with the Arabic, I will also take Quran
recitation, I worked with Muslims for 50 years and they are my best
friends ,
Finally I want to thank
everyone for everything, I will miss Aldiwan center and will miss
everyone.

Al Diwan offers an
excellent program. Ustadz Ibrahim is an excellent teacher; he was very
patient and had a great approach of teaching Arabic. I would strongly
recommend Al Diwan to others interested in studying Arabic abroad.

The instructors yasser
and Ibrahim were excellent and made the environment really positive, I
would have liked to be pushed a bit more to work harder in class and to
study more at home.
But of course at the time
I appreciated it. It might be helpful to have a group study time
outside of class that people could attend if they wanted or to have a
"fusha café" place where the students could meet to speak fusha
with each other outside class.

Aldiwan Center is very
good. Instructors are excellent and dedicated. Staff, instructors and
the manager help me a lot. Now, I am improved in conversation,

My time at Al Diwan has
been one of great personal satisfaction. The very experience of
learning and absorbing the Arabic language while living in Egypt 's
spiritual capital makes for a fruitful and interesting adventure . In
particular the teaching of Arabic as a "native" language, as opposed to
a foreign one, aids the student in truly feeling the language and the
context of Egypt . Al- Diwan further provides the ideal environment for
this by encouraging conversation and friendship between teacher and
student. The practice in speaking one gain from this is insurmountable
and entirely necessary for fluency. I faithfully recommend Al Diwan as
a wholly satisfying experience, just be careful at the taxi drivers.

When I came to Egypt I
came with the hope of being able to have a single conversation in the
Arabic language without the struggle of misunderstanding any words, and
alhamdullah that has happened. It is from coming to this school that

The time that I spent at
Al-Diwan was a truly enlightening and enriching experience. The
atmosphere at the center was always full of energy and a genuine desire
to teach the Arabic language in the most conducive way possible. I
particularly benefited from the individual classes in which the
instructor is able to tailor the course work to match the needs of the
student with precision. Ustadh walid has a lot of patience , experience
in teaching and management.

Monem is one of the finest instructors I have ever had the pleasure to
study with. His depth and breadth of knowledge was evident to me from
the first day of class. His experience in teaching Arabic as a foreign
language greatly facilitated the language learning process for me. His

hour class is truly a remarkable trait.

My experience Diwan
cannot be put in words. I had high expectations before attending the
center and the amount I learned surpassed what I expected. I appreciate
the flexibility of the center to meet the needs of its students and I
admire the care and concern the staff and administration have for their
student's studies and well being. Diwan became my second home away from
home and it was the reason why my entire Egypt experience was amazing.

Diwan is a place I would
recommend whole heartedly. Its approach to the Arabic language and the
tuition of it beats any other institute or method. Prior to Al Diwan I
had studied Arabic but found the way it was taught unsatisfactory.
Diwan however teaches Arabic using the Arabic language removing the
clumsiness of learning through another language. In the past two month
whilst studying here I have made tremendous leaps in my spoken Arabic
from knowing little to conducting conversations on many topics in both
fusha Arabic with my teachers and Egyptian colloquial with everyone
else. I would strongly recommend Al-Diwan for anyone who is very
serious about learning Arabic.

My experience of studying
Arabic at Al Diwan has been challenging and enjoyable. I benefited
greatly from the dedication and encouragement of my teacher whose
manner of explaining and presenting new information and grammatical
concepts was excellent. The one-one teaching meant that I was able to
work at a pace that suited my ability and the stress on conversing in
Arabic really helped me to cement what I had learned. I would recommend
Al Diwan to anyone wanting to study Arabic without hesitation, and I

Honestly I decided to
study in Al Diwan simply to get a head start in Arabic back home,
however every aspect of the culture surpassed my expectations.
Typically being British it was hard getting by in Cairo, so everyday it
was refreshing to come to a place where you are greeted with a smile by
every person within it.
The teaching was exceptional and because of it I am taking away with me
a much larger knowledge of both Arabic and Islam, which I am sure will
aid me in the future.
